Housekeeping note: Susan's laptop has died (again), and we are therefore putting on hold the pics/video portion of this blog until aforementioned issues are resolved.
Yo very sweetly says 'Sing, dada' when I put him to bed, at which point I break into my rendition of 'Away in a manager'. Very touching and all that. Recently, though, when I was singing along to the radio in the morning to entertain him, he turned to me, put his finger up, and said 'Shhhh, dada', then turned to his mother, and said 'Sing, mama'.
Hmmm. Maybe my excellent voice is tolerable only in the night when the boy is half-asleep.
Yo has been picking up words left and right, and is now starting to string them into 3 and 4 word sentences. He has his own pronunciation going on, though, and one needs to know the key to interpret accurately. For example:
Canpake: Pancake
Puc: Cup
Tigar: Guitar
Fing: Swing
Feep: Sleep
Fop: Stop
Kai: Cry
Ka-ing: Crying

Bangalore
We spent a week in Bangalore before heading back home - time flew by really fast. Yo acquired quite the collection of cars, vans, bikes, buses, and autos here, courtesy Gama.
