This is our third year of getting a professional photo shoot done in the Fall.

Pumpkins!!

Our new school doesn't do field trips and by the time we thought about picking pumpkins, the good, old Oregon rains started and didn't stop.

But we needed a pumkin fix.

So we rushed off after school one evening to a "patch" exactly a minute away from school. We picked our pumpkins from a farm stand. Yohan even managed to do a mini hay maze. At the end of our 15 minute expedition, we had super muddy shoes and two pumpkins (later spray painted bronze) to show for our adventures.

Captain America and Fairy got a chance to reappear in full gear at their school Harvest Party. We've got quite a bit of mileage from those costumes!

Parents were allowed in Malaika's class so Mamma had a photo opp with lots of cute little kids with an excessive focus on a very pretty little fairy (thank you Gama for the wings and antenna from the birthday!).

Halloween Party at Playgroup

This year's Halloween party with the playgroup kids (whom we have met every week almost for the last 4 years) was quite the party.

The new crew of siblings.... this was as posey as they got!

Miss Fairy and Captain America had a great time decorating pumkins, eating pumpkin pizza, hitting the bat pinata and eating "spider" cupcakes. Their little buddies were super cute and included everything from a ketchup sachet to a transformer.

Little People Conversations

The kids gave me a pen to open. The lid was stuck and I gave up. Here's the conversation that ensued.

Yohan: We have to ask Gampa

Mika: He's old, right?

Yohan: Yeah. He has black and white hair, like dada.

Mika: How about Appapa?

Yohan: He's funny. He has blac...no hair.
