PDXGang farewell

Been 15 years, and we've built some amazing friendships here. Had a wonderful get-together before we headed out, and the kids got to have sleep-overs with their buddies too!

Zoo trip

We tried to pack some PDX memories in before we headed out. The kids love animals - at a distance for the most part - so we had to pay our respects at the zoo.

East Coast trip

The family took a big trip at the beginning of summer to the east coast - New York, Atlantic City, Washington DC, and Baltimore. Was quite an amazing trip - got to visit friends and family, and see a ton of sights.

Yo's 1st grade school play

Groups of kids from his class got together to do a few skits. Yo's was a different take on the "wolf and 3 pigs" story.

Child #2 graduated...

... from kindergarten, that is. Much like child #1 last year, this was quite the occasion, with a full cap and gown and performance.

More belt tests

The belt tests for the kids keep getting more advanced. I supposed that is to be expected. Mika finished her orange belt test, and Yo completed his blue-with-brown-stripe test.
