Packing up and heading out

The day finally arrived mid July. A large container showed up, and in a couple days the house was empty and the container was full.

It was a typical Portland day when we finally boarded the plane without a return ticket in hand. Gray skies, and a light drizzle.

Farewell, First Home

This was our first home as a family - saw us grow from a newly married couple to a family of 4. Tons of memories here.

The month of July was quite a whirlwind of activity - packing up, meeting folks, making some more memories, and saying goodbye to our first home base as a family. We hope to be back some day!

PDXGang farewell

Been 15 years, and we've built some amazing friendships here. Had a wonderful get-together before we headed out, and the kids got to have sleep-overs with their buddies too!

East Coast trip

The family took a big trip at the beginning of summer to the east coast - New York, Atlantic City, Washington DC, and Baltimore. Was quite an amazing trip - got to visit friends and family, and see a ton of sights.
